Assistant winemaker
Location: St. Helena, CA
This position supports winemakers in all aspects of the cellar and winemaking operation. Some of the duties include assisting with writing and completing work orders, including verification that proper cellar procedures are followed in all aspects of wine processing, maintaining the winery chemical inventory in the WIPS system; assist the winemaking department with meeting Bioterrism Act chemical lot tracking requirements, audit crushing, production and inventory storage at vendor wineries. Ideal candidate will have 5 or more years experience in winemaking positions, full knowledge of winemaking theory, BS degree in fermentation science or related field.
