OpeningsEnologist, Trinchero Family EstatesLocation: St. Helena, CAThe Trinchero Family Winery is looking for an enologist to support the head winemaker in all aspects of the cellar and winemaking operations. Essential duties of the enologist include but are not limited to: performing laboratory procedures, monitoring wine inventories and scheduling the appropriate analyses, maintaining the barrel tracking system, maintaining the winery’s chemical inventory while ensuring compliance with all regulations, preparing trade samples and trial blends, and participating in winemaking panel tastings. The ideal candidate will have full knowledge of winemaking theory as well as laboratory experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a valid California driver’s license. All candidates must be able to perform the physical labor associated with winemaking operations and able to work long hours, 6-7 days a week, during crush.
