National Accounts, Hotel Accounts Specialist
Location: Chicago, IL
We are seeking a National Accounts-Hotel Accounts Specialist to plan, direct, and coordinate activities and operations in order to achieve Trinchero Family Estates’ financial goals and to implement the sales/distribution side of Trinchero Family Estates’ strategic marketing plan specific to national hotel accounts. The National Accounts-Hotel Accounts Specialist will be headquartered on the East Coast or in the Midwest.
The primary duties for the National Accounts-Hotel Accounts Specialist focus on the following three areas: sales management of Trinchero Family Estates portfolio, distributor management, and personnel development & management. Specific responsibilities of the National Accounts-Hotel Accounts Specialist include but are not limited to: developing and maintaining high-level awareness of chain and market factors affecting brands; maintaining management control system of planning, directing, and organizing sales and marketing activities; working closely with field sales to monitor sales activity against set goals; monitoring trade pricing and marketing programs; and setting and communicating clear priorities to sales team members in order to meet marketing needs.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent work experience in Sales/Sales Management, 5 or more years experience in national account/hotel trade (preferably in the wine industry), experience with direct sales and distributor contact, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytic skills, excellent organizational skills, demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals or groups, knowledge of wine and wine production, and experience with project management.
