Vineyard Account Analyst
Location: Napa Valley, CA
The primary function of the Vineyard Accountant/Analyst is to ensure that all aspects of the general ledger information, as it pertains to all vineyard companies produced by the Accounting & Finance team is processed in a timely and accurate manner. Often the Vineyard Accountant/Analyst will be requested to assist in obtaining information for presentation to management or to answer inquires by Accounting & Finance and other department management.
Primary duties of the Vineyard Accountant/Analyst include but are not limited to: processing the monthly general ledger; analyzing Vineyard departmental expenses, including comparing the actual expenses against the budget and preparing for end of the year audits; and coordinating the Vineyard’s annual budget process.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Accounting, Finance or other business related field, 3 or more years experience in a similar position, demonstrated project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and recent experience with computerized accounting systems, SAP experience preferred.
