Trincheri Vermouth

Inspired from Italy, Crafted in Napa. A true original steeped in tradition for the modern cocktail era.

Brand Story

Trinchero Family Estates has been making premium wine in Napa Valley since 1948. Our founder, Mario Trinchero, was born in the prestigious Piedmont Italy wine region, immigrated to New York City and became a bartender at the prestigious Waldorf Astoria® and Barbizon–Plaza® hotels, moved to Napa Valley to start a successful winery, and later created a distinguished vermouth for its tasting room. Trincheri Vermouth celebrates the family’s heritage in Italy, New York, Napa Valley as well as craft cocktails everywhere.

Trincheri Vermouth is based on the original 1890’s Trinchero family recipe from Piedmont, Italy. Today, grapes sourced from Trinchero owned vineyards, Barbera in Amador County and Chardonnay in Napa Valley, make up the expressions in Rosso while Dry is sourced from Bullfrog Vineyard French Colombard in Central Valley, also owned by Trinchero Family Estates. Trincheri Rosso and Dry Vermouth are both infused with Roman Artemisia and Cinchona Bark bitter herbs along with other fruits, botanicals, and spices that have been cold macerated for over a month. Bob Trinchero, Trinchero Family Estates Chairman Emeritus and Wine Spectator Distinguished Service Honoree, re-created Trincheri Vermouth. It’s a vibrant vermouth with the perfect balance of bitterness, sweetness, and flavor complexity.
