Neyers Vineyards was created in 1992 by Bruce and Barbara Neyers and produces esteemed, small-production wines from top appellations throughout Northern California. The partnership bolsters TFE’s steadily growing fine wine portfolio, and complements a pattern of investment across California vineyards and production facilities in recent years.

Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-05) formally announced Karen Cakebread as this year’s Woman of the Year in Napa County. After careful consideration, Cakebread was selected for her work with the Napa Valley Vintners and her community service in the wake of the Valley Fire.

Trinchero Family Estates Purchases Paso Robles Winery Facility

Trinchero Family Estates (TFE) today announced its purchase of the Five Rivers Winery facility in located in the Paso Robles AVA. TFE purchased the site from Fetzer Vineyards, who has owned it since 2000. The Five Rivers property totals 46 acres which includes 15 acres of vineyards planted to Petite Sirah and a winery facility that is over 90,000 square feet. Fetzer Vineyards is consolidating its operations at its corporate headquarters in Mendocino County.

Trinchero Family Estates today announced its acquisition of Mason Cellars, owners of Pomelo and Three Pears wines. Kirsty Cringan joins Trinchero as Chief Financial Officer

Kirsty Cringan has joined Trinchero Family Estates (TFE) as Chief Financial Officer, replacing outgoing CFO Mark Smithers. After 21 successful years with the company, Smithers will transition into a new role at TFE working with the Trinchero family and shareholders on key corporate initiatives. He will scale back his day-to-day operations and assist with the CFO office’s transition. Bob Torkelson, TFE president and COO, said, “We are happy for Mark and his family as he moves on to the next phase of his career. In his 21 years at TFE, Mark was instrumental in developing our world-class finance team and providing valuable insight that helped us grow.”
