Ersol

Chardonnay
Within the larger Sonoma Coast appellation, fruit from Nightwing Vineyard, planted in diverse soil types along the more than 1,000-foot elevations of the mountainous eastern ridge of the Petaluma Gap AVA experiences dense, morning fog followed by moderate afternoon winds from the nearby Pacific Ocean. The region’s cool climate stresses the vines, creating smaller, more concentrated fruit clusters that result in a more complex, fruit forward flavorful wine with balanced acidity, minerality and salinity.

Pinot Noir
Within the larger Sonoma Coast appellation, fruit from MacMurray Ranch Vineyard, located more inland in the Russian River Valley AVA, grows at a higher elevation in loose, well-draining soil and is exposed to longer hours of sunshine. As a result, the warmer terroir adds rich fruit flavors and structured tannins to the wine. Rounding out the blend, fruit from Nightwing Vineyard is planted in diverse soil and sits at over 1,000 feet in elevation along the mountainous eastern ridge of the Petaluma Gap AVA. Here, the vines experience dense, morning fog followed by moderate afternoon winds from the nearby Pacific Ocean. The region’s cool climate stresses the vines, creating smaller, more concentrated fruit clusters that result in a more complex, fruit forward flavorful wine with balanced acidity, minerality and salinity. Blended, the diverse appellations help to create an elegant, fruit-forward, and well-structured wine.
