Our Land. Our Community. Our Responsibility.

Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits remains rooted in agriculture and committed to sustainable farming with more than 9,000 acres of vineyards throughout Napa Valley, Sonoma, Lake, Amador, and Santa Barbara counties, as well as vast Central Coast and inland valleys.

By 2030, we strive to achieve a 50% reduction in carbon emissions from our 2018 baseline (Scope 1 and 2 emissions). Our long-term ambition is to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045.

Owl boxes give owls a place to live and control rodents and other pests that cause damage to the grapevines, without the use of chemicals or traps. Thousands of tons of grape skins, seeds and stems are converted into compost for vineyards and nutraceutical use.

By 2025, our aim is to achieve less than 3.2 gallons of production water used per gallon of wine made. We recognize the importance of responsible water management and are dedicated to minimizing our water consumption throughout our operations.

In 2023, we greatly expanded our solar power installations at four of our California wineries. Together, annual solar production across the four sites will reach 11.5 million kWh.
